Thanksgiving Pumpkin Painting

Ages 8-12

Beginner painting skills

JOIN EXPERIENCED ELEMENTARY PROFESSIONAL ART INSTRUCTOR KIM TRUELOVE, for this fun Thanksgiving pumpkin painting workshop.  Participants will learn how to draw and paint their own pumpkin on a wood panel. Your child  will draw their pumpkin in pencil to create and refine the pumpkin shape. Next, it is painting time! An emphasis will be placed on blending colors to create shading and depth. This is a skill that is essential for realistic painting. This workshop is open to children ages 8-12. All supplies are included in the cost of the workshop.

 

This workshop will be held inside Laura Brady Gallery, in our Workshop Space where there will be: �� 

• Hot Cocoa 

• Fresh Baked Cookies

• The artistic inspiration that comes from being in a fine art gallery setting.

• A cozy, rewarding and festive time together

Date: 11/18/23  • 3 PM 
Cost: $45 per child
All instruction, refreshments, and materials are included.
Class Duration: 90 minutes

Please arrive about 10-15 minutes early to check-in, get smocked, and settle in.

“ON THE SHELF”

Ages 5-7

Little Pumpkin with big personality

JOIN EXPERIENCED ELEMENTARY PROFESSIONAL ART INSTRUCTOR KIM TRUELOVE, creating this cute little Pumpkin-“On The Shelf” character.

Your children will love creating this cute little Pumpkin-“On The Shelf” character. Each child will have the opportunity to add his/her personal touch to their pumpkin by adding fun accessories. This workshop is open to children ages 5-7. All supplies are included in the cost of the workshop. 

 

This workshop will be held inside Laura Brady Gallery, in our Workshop Space where there will be:   

• Juice Box Refreshment

• Fresh Baked Cookies

• The artistic inspiration that comes from being in a fine art gallery setting.

• A cozy, rewarding and festive time together

Date: 11/18/23  • 1 PM 
Cost: $45 per child

Class Duration: 60 minutes

 Kimberly graduated from Montclair State University in December of 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. Over the last 24 years, she has taught  Preschool through 6th grade Art at Blairstown Elementary School in Blairstown New Jersey. Kim also teaches after school art programs through the Blairstown Township Recreation. Kimberly loves to teach art to children of all ages. She is thrilled when a student is proud of their artwork and is excited for the next lesson. 
 
Kim resides in Blakeslee, PA with her husband Jeremy and beautiful children Nathaniel and Elysia. She loves family game nights, hiking and making art. Kimberly is excited to bring her passion and talent to the youngsters of the Lehigh Valley with workshops at the Laura Brady Gallery!
